Fishing Reports for 2021

12/27/21 -- Limits of reds & kept some trout for supper.

12/23/21 --Today's catch on Bass Assassins

12/3/2021 Took David Smith & Jimmy Harding from Huntsville, caught the trout in the Colorado river and the red fish in east Matagorda bay. They had a good time, said they were tired of eating deer meat and were looking forward to eating fish.

12/2/2021 -- Good morning on east Matagorda bay. Trout wading, redfish balled up in the middle

11/8/2021 Great midday bite on sandtrout, speckled trout & red fish.

10/25/2021 Had a great morning with these two 9 year olds and their dads from Dallas. Absolutely perfect weather, all fish came from west Matagorda bay.

10/15/2021 Took this couple fishing today, caught trout, redfish & sand trout on bass assassins, paddle tails & "Gulp", under a cork. Lots of large sandtrout in east Matagorda right now...

10/7/2021 Good day wading East Matagorda bay with both topwaters and Bass Assassins.

8/30/2021 Great morning drifting east Matagorda bay and working some bird activity. Wind west @ 15 to 18 mph.

8/29/2021 Great wading for reds in west Matagorda bay on upper slot reds and oversized. Reds herded up like cattle, all fish caught on bass assassins...

8/1/2021 Customer said he wanted to catch a 10 lb red today!
Also released 29"...!

7/21/2021 Took this father and 12 yr old son Sunday and caught the hell out of good trout on top-waters. He then booked today and is going home tomorrow. Today trout were bigger, wore out the upper slot redfish as well which also wore me out...

July 5, 2021 -- Limits of trout, reds & sandtrout now showing up. Light winds, no rain but was predicted to be at 90%.

May 30 --First wade this morning!

May 29 -- They kept a few for a fish fry!

May 4 -- Good prefrontal bite for this couple this morning.

Jan 29, 2021-- Good bite this morning on soft dines, corkys and bass assassins. Wind east, north east at 15 to 18 mph.
